Why this exists

Uniformed personnel get targeted

A guaranteed salary, a posting far from home and a family managing money at a distance is a combination that attracts the wrong kind of attention. Endowment policies sold as savings. Premiums nobody could sustain on that salary. Schemes that go quiet the moment the money is in.

These sessions exist to make that harder. What a policy actually does, what the commission structure behind it looks like, what the pension and DSOP already cover, and what questions to ask before signing anything. No product is presented and nobody collects contact details at the door.

What a session looks like

No product is sold in the room and no contact details are collected. Swipe, or focus the row and use the arrow keys.

A large hall of CRPF recruits in training kit seated facing a Wealth Farming slide, with the session being addressed from the stage
RTC CRPF. A full intake in one room — the largest of these sessions run to several hundred at a time.

Hands up when a question lands. This is the part that tells you whether the room is following.
A session in progress at a whiteboard, addressing uniformed police officers seated around a conference table
A briefing-room session. Smaller rooms take longer, because people actually interrupt.
Uniformed police officers seated around a conference table before a session begins
Before the start. The papers on the table are the handout, not a product brochure.
Personnel in camouflage caps and numbered training bibs gathered in conversation after a session
The questions after the session usually outlast the session.

Photographs are published only where the unit has agreed. No attendee is identified without consent, and no contact details are collected in the room.

What these sessions are for

Awareness first. Nothing is sold in the room.

These sessions exist to build financial awareness and financial literacy among government personnel and their families, and to make suitable financial options reachable for people who are more often sold to than advised. The aim is that you leave able to judge a product for yourself — what a policy actually covers, what a fund actually costs, what a claim actually needs.

Nothing is sold in the room and nobody is signed up on the day. The department pays nothing and carries no cost and no liability for anything that follows. If you want help afterwards you ask for it, and that is a separate conversation you start — with a licensed distributor and broker who tells you what he is paid and by whom.

  • Education, not a product pitch
  • No cost and no liability to the department
  • Any follow-up is yours to ask for, never ours to chase

Who we have run these for

Forces and services

  • Indian Army
  • Indian Navy
  • Indian Air Force
  • CRPF
  • Paramilitary forces
  • Maharashtra Police
  • Fire brigade and firefighters

Sessions are arranged directly with the unit or department. If your service is not listed, ask anyway — the list reflects where we have been invited, not where we will go. For a company, a hospital or a utility, see Corporate Solutions.

How to arrange one

Four steps

  1. You ask

A short request with your unit or department, rough group size and location. One person can ask on behalf of the group.

  2. We agree the focus

Insurance and misselling, investing basics, retirement and pension, or a mix. Tell us what the group is actually asking about.

  3. We come to you

In person, at your location, at a time that fits the duty roster. There is no charge and no minimum group size that makes it worth our while.

  4. Nobody is followed up

Attendees are not added to a list. If someone wants advice afterwards they can ask — and plenty do, which is the only reason this is sustainable.

Not only uniformed services

Any group can ask

The programme started with uniformed services and that is still most of what we do. But the same session works for a company, a housing society, a teachers’ association or a self-help group.

If you can gather the people, we will come and run it. Same terms — free, in person, nothing sold in the room.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Is it really free?

Yes. No fee, no charge to the unit, no minimum group size. Some attendees later become clients and that is what makes the programme sustainable — but nobody is asked to in the session.

Will products be sold?

No. No product is presented and no forms are handed out. If someone wants advice afterwards they can contact us themselves, and most people do not, which is fine.

Do attendees have to give contact details?

No. There is no sign-in sheet and no list. If you want us to leave contact details behind so people can reach us, we will — the other direction is what we avoid.

How long is a session?

Usually 45 to 90 minutes depending on the group and how much they want to ask. We will fit the duty roster rather than the other way round.

Can it be in Marathi?

Yes, and it usually is. Marathi, Hindi or English, or a mix — whatever the room is most comfortable with.
