Open an investment account
Mutual funds and SIPs are held in your own name, on a platform we are registered with. You open the account; we help you choose what goes in it.
How we are paid, before you go any further. We are an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor, ARN-316331. When you invest through a platform we are registered with, the fund house pays us a trail commission out of the scheme’s expense ratio — not as an extra charge on top of your investment, but not from nowhere either. You should know that arrangement exists before you open the account, which is why it is here and not in a footnote.
Where to open it
The account is in your name and the money goes directly to the fund house. We do not hold it at any point. Any of these works — ask us which suits what you are trying to do, because the differences are in servicing rather than in the funds themselves.
